Playa La Garita is located in the municipality of Haría, specifically in the beautiful coastal town of Arrieta, northeast of Lanzarote.

What you can do

Playa La Garita has a good sized pier that will allow you to enjoy a breathtaking view. In addition, at the end of the pier there is a platform designed for you to jump off it into the sea and enjoy the best dips.
It is a very user-friendly beach, thanks to its showers, toilets, nearby beach bars, children’s playground and car park (it is a bit small).
Hotels and restaurants
Within a 5 min drive you will find a variety of holiday villas, houses and flats to stay in. Among the main ones are the “Casa Anclada Alta” and “La Marina Beach”. There are other excellent alternatives, with beautiful sea views and all the amenities you may need to make the most of your visit to Lanzarote.
If you wish to enjoy authentic Canarian cuisine, the restaurants in Arrieta offer a wide range of options. You can satisfy your taste buds with everything from fresh, locally caught fish to papas arrugadas con mojo (wrinkled potatoes with mojo sauce). What you can’t do
In order to take care of the beach and the peace and quiet of other visitors, it is indicated that you may not:
Leave waste of any kind in the environment, including cigarette butts.
Take stones, sand or any other element from the natural environment.
Disturb the tranquillity with loud noises, such as music.
Unfortunately, Playa La Garita is not Pet Friendly.
